Senators set 23-man opening roster; Foegele, MacDermid and Zub start on injured reserve
Ottawa's opening roster has goaltenders Linus Ullmark and Samuel Ersson, per Canucks World. Warren Foegele, Kurtis MacDermid and Artem Zub were placed on injured reserve, and both Sens Hot Stove and Canucks World say Ben Hutton was released from his tryout. Eight players cleared waivers and were assigned to AHL Belleville. Ottawa's first listed game is Oct. 3 at Toronto.
