237 Sports started as a personal project and still is one. There’s no office, no team, no funding round. Just someone who got tired of keeping track of his teams across six apps and a browser full of tabs, and decided to build something better.

The world of sport is bigger than any one fan can hold. Leagues you’ve never watched, rivalries a century old, a player somewhere having the season of their life. Most of it stays out of reach — not because it’s hidden, but because nothing points you toward it.

That’s what this is for. A place to keep your teams’ schedules straight, see the day’s news without wading through noise, and stumble into corners of sport you didn’t know were there.

There’s more here than reading, too. Leave a few marks as you go — call a game before it starts, say what you felt when it ended, keep the moments that mattered. They become story cards: small, shareable keepsakes of the games you cared about. Something to send a friend who was watching the same thing you were, and something to find again years later, when you’ve forgotten the score but not the night.

It’s a work in progress, and it will stay that way. Things break. Features arrive half-finished and get fixed. That’s the trade for building it honestly rather than pretending to be bigger than it is.
